Dental Pluggers Amalgam Condenser – Hollow Handle 9–9.5 mm – Plastic Filling Restorative Double Ended Tools
Dental instrument for condensing, and compacting filling material into a tooth cavity and to carry or dispense amalgam for cavity preparation. It is used for condensing amalgam or any plastic material in a cavity, operated by hand or by mechanical methods. Amalgam pluggers are compacting instruments, which have a protective metallic strip around its tip to prevent the material shifting along with its tip. It is placed in hollow tubes and then transferred to the cavity preparation. It sticks in the carrier if it is not released immediately after the tubes are filled.
CHARACTERISITICS:
Double ended, smooth & serrated ends with a hollow handle ranging from 9 to 9.5 mm in diameter which accommodate difficult areas and used on amalgam, composite, & temporary filling tray setups.
