Description
Aver periodontal probe with a hollow handle ranging from 9 to 9.5 mm in diameter is an instrument in dentistry commonly used in the dental armamentarium. It is usually long, thin, and blunted at the end. The primary purpose of a periodontal probe is to measure pocket depths around a tooth in order to establish the state of health of the periodontium. We offer many different types of periodontal probes, and each has its own manner of indicating measurements on the tip of the instrument. e.g. AMP No.3, AMP No.5, No.11 (Briault), No.12 (Weston), No. 5/6, ODU 11/12, No. 6/37, No. 2/54, No. 9/54
Aver Periodontal probes can also be used for:
• Measuring other dental instruments
• Tooth preparations during restorative procedures
• Gingival recession, attached gingiva
• Oral lesions or pathologies.
