The No.23 Extracting Forceps (USA Pattern)— Knurled Handle (Classic dotted grip for secure hold) commonly known as the “Cow Horn Forceps”—are designed for the extraction of lower molars, especially those with bifurcated or divergent roots. The signature cow horn–shaped beaks penetrate into the furcation area of mandibular molars, allowing the clinician to apply controlled elevation and natural leverage to lift the tooth from the socket with minimal force.
The USA Pattern hinge provides smooth, powerful mechanical action and excellent tactile feedback. These forceps are ideal for surgical and routine extractions involving difficult or deep-rooted mandibular molars.
Manufactured from premium medical-grade stainless steel, they provide exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and full compatibility with all standard sterilization methods.
